My final design for our typographic poster design for the Futurbit Convention

Here is my type Poster. I was very pleased with how it turned out and happy with my color choices. At first, I was going to stick with only red, black, and white, but when messing around with settings to make the text more legible I ended up falling in love with how the yellow looked. 
Something I think works really well was the font choice and the use of the logo in the background to add visual interest. 

The elements overall aim for a retro scifi look, with the font choices playing into that. I wanted everything to feel geometric, with my biggest inspiration being the look and style of 1970s Aperture from the video game Portal 2.

Exploration thumbnails to explore different arrangements of text. I used both traditional media and digital to explore the placement of my designed logo.

The logo I designed in our assignment "Good Grids" that I later used in my poster design.
